Yo Paul,
It is Oliver here and am in HK, too.
Same industry as you do so if you have time, we might be able to have a catch up here in HK.
Let me know.
Thanks
Oliver

Paul, I am conducting a search for a US-based hedge fund which has an office in Singapore. The office opened in 2008 and now has 8 investment staff. The fund has over $6B in AUM as of 2010 and invests primarily in event-driven credit and distressed opportunities as well as real estate on a global basis. They are interested in hiring a person in the Singapore office who has experience with Japanese real estate and NPL’s. They would also work on deals in other geographies in Asia as well as other asset classes. They are looking for someone with 3-7 years of experience. Do you know a person you would recommend?
Cheers.

Hey paul,
I read a note from you on the one of the hedge fund focussing on Asia.. I work with an investment firm in India and talking to this particular hedge fund on a possibility to work with them.. I think your views on the fund are not only insightful but intriguing to me and i was wondering if I could find more about that? You could shoot back an email to me..
thanks
Ruchi

Hi Paul,
Just chanced upon your blog as I was doing research on Seatown.
Your About section states that “He likes receiving non-spam comments”, and “speaks four languages”
I have a quick question – what are the four languages?
Thanks, and interesting blog btw,
Yash

Google brought me because of Abax, but the article on asshole Buffet got me interested. Are you going to keep this blog updated anymore?
